Chase Your Dreams With Chase Credit Cards!

October 30th, 2007 by Scrivener

chase-credit-card.jpg

Whenever I pull out my plastic from my wallet, I used to wonder about those olden days when paper currency ruled the roost! These soiled and crumbled notes of exchange were not very convenient modes of transaction- to say the least. The threat of pick pockets and losing your wallet on a long journey could be a traumatic experience. When credit cards made their stunning appearance in the financial sector, it stirred up quite a lot of interest among not just the jet setting business honchos but also amidst ordinary morsels like you and me!

I prefer credit cards for all my monthly shopping as well as the bumper purchases that go hand in hand with festive occasions like Christmas or New Year. These simple and smart cards offer online transactions and payments of bills. I still shudder at the thought of waiting in the winding queues to remit the bills, month after month. In addition, you can manage your accounts online and even get a paperless account statement with just a few clicks. If all these were not, Chase offers credit cards of various types to suit the unique needs of the customers.

For instance when I use the General Purpose Chase Cards to ensure the ultimate purchasing power, my husband is a die hard fan of the rebate cards that promise eye popping discounts on everyday purchases at our choicest retailers. No wonder, considering the fact that he is banker with an eye for every penny that he spends! In addition there are Entertainment Cards for those who never miss a concert or cultural event in the town and sports cards for those sporty youngsters to net a cool deal while purchasing sports goods and for sports events.

If you thought chase cards are only for fun and entertainment, you are off track by at least a mile! There are military cards that testify the social commitment of JP Morgan Chase to both the serving and retired members of the armed services. In addition there are student cards, auto & gas cards and travel cards among others. Making your pick from this impressive lay out of chase cards is easy as never before.

JPMorgan Chase is a pioneer in global financial services that flaunts assets worth $1.5 trillion. Chase has a global presence with operations in over 50 countries and serves millions of clients’ world wide and I feel privileged to be a member of this enterprising family.

Risks Of Sharing Bottled Water

June 15th, 2007 by Webmaster

It is amazing to me how the bottled water industry has exploded in our country. It seems that every where you look someone is carrying a bottle of water. Until recently I did not think too much about this craze, until my daughter’s volleyball team had a health crisis.

My daughter has been involved in some type of organized sport since she was six years old. She is now sixteen and is a great team player and quite skilled in volleyball. She has a great personality so even though she is only a sophomore she was picked as co-captain on the team. I go to all of the home games and to as many of the away games as possible. A few weeks ago they were playing against a school about thirty five miles away from the town we live in. I stopped at home and changed clothes after work and picked up my son and drove to my husband’s office to pick him up. At the last minute I grabbed a case of water from the refrigerator in our garage. I had my son open the case and hand me a bottle of water as I was driving. When we picked up my husband he also wanted a bottle of water. He asked why I had brought a case along. I explained that some of the girls may ride back with us and they would be thirsty.

When we arrived at the game my daughter waved to us in the stands. She came over and asked if she could have a drink out of my bottle of water. She said that they only had the squirt bottles of water on the side lines and she did not like sharing with others. She also said that a group was going out for pizza after the game so they would not ride home with us. I had my son go out to the car and bring in the case of water. Several of the girls had a bottle of water and the rest said that they would use the squirt bottles. The girls won the game and we went home.

About three days later my daughter called me from school crying. Several girls from the volleyball team were very sick from meningitis. One of the girls was in the hospital for two days and the others were coming down with symptoms. They feel that the one girl spread it to the other girls through the bottle of water. They are supposed to squirt water into their mouths, but they are not always careful.

A week later the girl that had first contracted the meningitis died. The other girls are getting better, but they are all so sad and shocked that their beautiful young friend is gone. I am so thankful that my daughter did not drink out of the squirt bottles and that I had brought the case of water along. I think that having the bottle of water along saved others on the team from getting sick.

Sending Thank You Notes

May 24th, 2007 by Webmaster

With the craziness in the world these days, the simplest of things get forgotten and overlooked. My mother told me when I was younger, that whenever a gift is received or someone does something out of the norm, it is only respectful and polite to send thank you notes. She also told me that thank you notes should be sent out immediately, or within two weeks if it was a wedding or shower with lots of guests and gifts to keep track of. I have always remembered her advice.

After returning from our honeymoon, my husband and I went through all of our gifts and made lists of what was received and from whom. I stayed up late for several evenings taking the time to write personalized thank you notes. It is in my opinion, that if someone took the time and cared enough to get us a present, they should be thanked properly and respectfully. Thank you notes are the simplest of ways that can be done. When you have lots of thank you notes to send, it may seem entirely too time consuming to personalize every invitation, but it should be done. I had a lot of thank you notes to send out from our wedding and though it was terribly time consuming, I made sure that I made each one personal. I specifically mentioned what the gift was, maybe what it would be used for, and thanked them for being a part of our wedding day and our lives. I want people to know that I appreciate them and their gesture.

I have been known to send thank you notes for lots of different reasons. I’ve sent them when someone has gone out of their way for me in running an errand or doing a favor for me. I’ve taken the time to send thank you notes to a relative for a wonderful meal that they cooked and invited me to join them. It has become common for people to send thank you notes after a job interview as well. Many salespeople now send thank you notes to clients when they purchase something from them. I recently had a massage and received a thank you note from the massage therapist. She sent me a coupon for another massage in the future.

Lots of people do some very sweet things for my daughter. I’ve had people who like to give me clothing that their children outgrew or toys. While they may simply be hand-me-downs, it was thoughtful and generous. Gestures, such as that, are deserving of thank you notes. No matter what someone does for you - whether it be purchasing a gift or simply running an errand for you, they deserve to know that they are appreciated. More thank you notes and appreciation would make the world a better place.

SUV’s, Jeeps, Hybrid Vehicles And More

May 16th, 2007 by Webmaster

Wouldn’t it be great to own a 2006 jeep grand cherokee Laredo? Oh come on; you know you want one. I can hardly tell what happened to our society over the past decade. Remember when sports cars used to be all the rage? I guess this craze had faded dramatically. These days we all want a nice stout SUV. Yes indeed, our vehicles are getting larger and our cell phones are getting smaller. Now, you may wonder why we all go after SUVs. If you really sit and think about it, it doesn’t make a great deal of sense. SUVs are the vehicles that require so much fuel to operate. That’s not desirable in this day and age. The last thing we want to do is spend more cash at the pump. Good thing they are now producing a few hybrids.

I seriously doubt the jeep grand cherokee Laredo comes in a hybrid. Or, if it does, I haven’t seen it yet. Do you fully understand the point of a hybrid? They basically have two fuel options. There’s a battery and there’s gasoline. The vehicle runs on the battery until the battery dies down. Then it switches to the fuel. While it’s running on the fuel, it re-charges the battery for later. It’s a rather innovative and just all-round nifty concept. Now, if they could just produce all vehicles in hybrid form, we’d be set. Oh, and drop the prices some so that we could all afford them. Hybrids do not come cheap. On the other hand, maybe you’re not searching for a hybrid vehicle at all. Maybe that jeep grand cherokee Laredo sounds just too good to pass up. If the price of the jeep grand cherokee Laredo is a tad high for your income, you could always test drive the new Jeep Compass. This is a nice SUV that sells for a more reasonable cost. Furthermore, I believe the Jeep Compass gets better gas mileage than the jeep grand cherokee Laredo. It’s all about the cylinders. If you plan to drive an eight cylinder, than you’d better be prepared to grapple with a nasty gas bill. The ideal engine size now days is a four cylinder. These typically offer the bets gas mileage.

Hop online and check out the statistics regarding the 2006 jeep grand cherokee Laredo and many others. This is the best way to see if it is a vehicle that suits you and your needs. You may find that you like others more. The available reviews may also alter your original opinion.

An Iriver MP3 Player

May 16th, 2007 by Webmaster

I’ve never been the kind of person to buy something just to follow along with the crowd. I like to do my own thing and create my own style without ever worrying or caring about what others might think. That’s why when I wanted to buy a device to play my digital music files, I never even considered getting an iPod. Instead, I wanted to get a completely different product, such as an iriver MP3 player.

I had heard a little bit about iriver MP3 players before, but not to the extent that I’d heard about iPods. So I couldn’t just go right out and grab the first iriver MP3 player I came across. I wanted to check out other brands too in order to make sure I was getting the best device for my money. I asked around, but most of my friends had iPods, so they weren’t much help. I then went into a local electronics store to look at the iriver MP3 players they had in stock and to ask one of the employees about the products. If you’ve ever tried getting any informed answers from a store clerk, then you can probably guess how my fact-finding mission went.

So I decided to go straight to the company’s homepage and find out about iriver MP3 players that way. The website had detailed information about every iriver MP3 player on the market, and I was able to compare the features and functions with other digital music devices. I found pricing information on the most popular iriver MP3 players as well. Then, I browsed through some user forums to see what iriver MP3 player owners had to say about the products because they would of course be the best judges of all. I found that most of the comments pertaining to the Audio Jukebox line and the new Clix models were very favorable, so I decided to go ahead and buy an iriver MP3 player.

In the end, I was able to purchase one of the latest iriver MP3 players, complete with flash memory, a 20GB capacity, full color screen, and even some free games from a discount website for a very low price. I was also able to get free shipping on my new iriver MP3 player, which was another bonus.

Now that I have an iriver MP3 player, I never go anywhere without it. It works flawlessly and really gets a lot of attention from other people simply by virtue of not being an iPod. As someone that likes to stand out from the crowd, I couldn’t ask for anything more!

Music And Exercise - Fun Time

May 12th, 2007 by Webmaster

I’ve been completely addicted to my MP3 player ever since I got it for my birthday a couple months ago, and I use it whenever I get a chance. I was particularly excited to use it when I work out because I’m always able to stick with exercising a lot longer when I’ve got some good music to listen to. However, the standard earbuds that came with my MP3 player aren’t exactly the best on the market. As a result, they’re quite uncomfortable to use, especially when I’m running on a treadmill or outside. So I thought it would be a good idea to invest in a good pair of headphones for jogging.

Headphones for jogging have to be far more stable and comfortable than standard types because of all the motion involved. Regular earbuds tend to fall out from the jarring impact sustained while running, which of course means that I would have to spend a lot of time fidgeting with the cord and replacing the earpiece. That would in turn slow down my pace and get me out of my rhythm, which I certainly didn’t want. With dedicated headphones for jogging, I would be able to enjoy great music without any of the annoyances that come with standard earbuds.

There are basically two different styles of headphones for jogging: in-ear and over-the-head. These headphones for jogging work just as you would expect, given their names. Since I have sensitive ears, I decided to look at over-the-head models only. But I know a lot of people swear by in-ear headphones for jogging, so I wasn’t ruling those out entirely. I would go back and check them out if I couldn’t find any over-the-head headphones for jogging that I liked.

Because MP3 players are so popular these days, there are a lot of websites that specialize in selling accessories for just about every major brand on the market. So I wasn’t very surprised to see how many different kinds of headphones for jogging there are. I knew right away that I wouldn’t have any trouble finding a great pair of headphones for jogging — and for a great price, too. I spent some time looking through some of the more sporty styles, and soon found a pair that I liked.

I’ve been using my new headphones for jogging long enough to know that I made the right decision. The earpieces stay in place no matter what kind of terrain I run on and I no longer have to worry about making adjustments while I’m on the move. With these special headphones for jogging, exercise time has become fun again.

Shopping Online For Gifts

April 3rd, 2007 by Webmaster

Wow, I tell you; the world of shopping definitely has changed drastically in the last decade. I’m proud to say that I do most of mine on the World-Wide-Web. This just makes sense. Why not do all sorts of Online Gift Shopping and browsing for your own needs if you can? All you need handy is your personal computer. As long as you have Internet access, you’re set. It’s a sweet and incomparable deal. And I don’t care what it is you’re searching for. The truth is if it actually exists, then it’s got to be online. Okay, if it’s legal and it exists. I guess I should specify that. Maybe not all black-market products are found in cyberspace.

I was just doing some Online Gift Shopping this morning. I wanted to pick up something for my wife. You know, just one of those “for the heck of it” items. Women love that kind of stuff. Am I wrong? So basically if you search within the realm of clothes, shoes, jewelry and cosmetics, you’re set. Yeah, those are some words of infinite wisdom right there. Trust me fellows. Anyway, I prefer Online Gift Shopping just because it doesn’t interrupt my busy day. I can just take a five minute break from work, pull up my Google search engine, and then proceed with the quick browsing. In no time at all, I have made my selection and paid with a bank card or PayPal. It’s really that simple. A receipt is typically sent to your email inbox and you can print it out just to be safe. Now, compare this Online Gift Shopping to the old method. Who wants to head out to the local shopping malls? I know all of you guys hear me on this one. We men generally hate the mall. First you have to drive all the way over there, search endlessly for a parking space, and then grapple with all the dense crowds of people. That is an utter pain in the butt. There’s just no two ways about it. And who’s to say that they’ll even carry what you’re searching for? With Online Gift Shopping you literally have the world at your fingertips. There’s no topping that.

So, are you up for some Online Gift Shopping? This is the best way to knock out all that Christmas stuff before the holiday season hits. Imagine all the cash you’ll save by Online Gift Shopping. The discounts found in cyberspace are incomparable to those found in local stores and malls. I’m talking about as much as 50 percent off.

Buying Honda Motorcycles

February 28th, 2007 by Webmaster

Lets face it, the legend of Harley Davidson is dead and gone. Although the Harley was the end-all and be-all of motorcycles for many many years, with its take over by a German company, it is no longer the American classic that it once was. And in any case, it is impossible to buy a Harley unless you have loads and loads of money. Although I used to want a Harley for many years, I am glad that I got over it. After talking to a few Honda motorcycle dealers, as well as several owners of Honda motorcycles, I have realized that this is far and away the best deal that I can get for a motorcycle.

Of course before I ever even went to any Honda motorcycle dealers, I started thinking about getting a Honda. I knew that Honda cars were some of the best that there are, and that I needed a vehicle of some kind to get me around. The reason that I decided to become a Honda motorcycle owner, is that, with the high cost of fuel, it just do not make sense for me to drive a full-sized car. In addition, I live in the desert, and the Honda motorcycle dealers that I talked to said that I would probably be able to drive my Honda motorcycle almost the entire year long. I met particularly nice Honda motorcycle dealers who told me everything that I needed to know about buying my first motorcycle, and even pointed me towards the right motorcycle safety classes to make sure that I was sure I could handle the challenge. The motorcycle dealers Honda that I talked to were free to admit that many other bikes have the advantages, but pointed out that most of their own customers would come away fairly satisfied. This was more than enough to convince me of what kind of like I wanted. I spent a few weeks talking to Honda motorcycle dealers, and then made my choice.

Of course it is never a good idea to do just what someone else tells you to, so I encourage you to do your own research before deciding what kind of bike to get. Although there are many good Honda motorcycle dealers, there are also a lot of other good motorcycles out there. Yamahas, Suzukis, Indians, and all other kinds of motorcycles have their advantages and disadvantages. It is always a mistake to choose something just on the brand. You should see what works for you.
